A lot of excitement has been generated over the announcement of the new Canon 5D mark II. After three years, this much anticipated camera offers a lot of horse power.
Wordpres 2.6.2 has been completed. The problems I had were quickly resolved due to the Wordpress forum help.
I did lose some files due to a bad backup, however the database was good and the images lost were easily recovered.
It appears I’m back in the blogging business.
I had a delightful visit to the Wildlife Safari on September 5th and 6th. A drive through on Friday with my 1D Mark III I took some shots for a class I was teaching the following morning. We had a great presentation and the group was a lot of fun. This was one of my first trainings with a mixed group of camera owners. We had Canon, Nikon and Pentax owners as well as a lot of people using point and shoots.
Anyone moving from a standard cell phone to the iPhone will agree that it has great features but the battery life has much to be desired. This of course put me on a search for an external battery that would allow me to watch movies or extend the use for taking notes in long meetings. Below are a two impressive batteries that I tried. However, only one performed as expected.
